FIVEK STUDIO / PRELAUNCH DESIGN PREVIEW · NOT AN INDEXED SALES SITE
MAKE THE ORGANISATION LEGIBLE

A corporate website should make the organisation easier to understand.

For groups whose divisions, identities and stakeholders need one accurate front door.

A group structure shouldn't need a treasure map and three PowerPoints.

03 / THE REAL THINKING (YES, REALLY)

Thought through
before it's built.

Unlike a generic template, this argument is written around the buyer and the evidence they'd actually need.

Make the structure visible without making it bureaucratic.

Corporate groups grow complicated: acquisitions, divisions, locations and legacy brands accumulate faster than the homepage changes. Someone arriving from a partner introduction or a search result needs an accurate map of the organisation—not a collection of vague statements about innovation and excellence.

We would explain what the group does, where its operating businesses sit, who leads it and which visitor should contact which team. A holding company website is different from a sales-led division website. The parent may need a disciplined corporate narrative, high-level capability overview and stakeholder contact routes, while individual operating brands retain their own detailed sales experiences. Relationships between entities need to be correct, and the navigation should not falsely imply common ownership or service coverage.

An organisation chart is only useful when a visitor can act on it

A holding group might own operating brands, minority investments and service businesses with overlapping names. The website must distinguish ownership, trading identities and enquiry routing. Implying that every related venture is a wholly owned subsidiary may damage trust and create real commercial confusion.

A helpful homepage could answer Who we are, What each company does, Who to contact and What has changed recently. Division pages then carry their own description and links, while the parent stays focused on governance, strategy and accurate context.

Design the group map from confirmed records

A live division explorer should be built from a controlled source of truth: correct entity names, ownership descriptions, logos used with permission, current contacts, and live URLs. The visual model should distinguish business units from legal entities. Corporate timelines need dates and authorisation; old deals and retired brands should not be presented as new achievements.

Illustrative microcopy: “Explore the businesses, people and capabilities behind the group.” The next view would offer a transparent taxonomy, not a generic “our solutions” carousel.

Protect existing visibility and the operating businesses

This kind of redesign can affect established search traffic if it replaces indexed pages or changes domain paths. It should begin with an inventory of traffic-driving URLs and business ownership, not a wholesale migration. The £5,000 corporate website may function as a clean parent presentation, while operating brands retain their proven sites. Success means visitors reach the correct company and can verify relationships without guesswork.

An accurate view of businesses and ownership

Verified legal entities and trading names, correctly attributed subsidiaries and brands, current leadership roles, approved group timeline, authentic office locations, permissioned partner and acquisition announcements.

The group’s information architecture

  1. Home — group at a glance
  2. Businesses and divisions
  3. Leadership and governance
  4. Corporate story
  5. News and selected milestones
  6. Partnership and group contact

Demo concept: The group map

explore divisions as a simple interactive architecture with distinct descriptions and links. It must use confirmed legal and trading relationships, not a speculative organisational chart.

Who this is for: Established groups, holding companies, founder-led multi-brand businesses and corporate teams preparing to refine their public identity.

What the £5,000 scope does not cover: The £5,000 standard site covers a bounded corporate presentation. Multi-language rollouts, extensive subsidiary site migrations, secure investor portals, stock-market disclosures and complex news infrastructure are additional.

Questions about corporate clarity

Can each division have its own domain?

Yes, if distinct ownership, purpose and buyer journeys justify it. A single coherent group site may be better where divisions share audiences.

Will the design replace our existing search-performing pages?

Not by default. Existing indexed URLs, traffic, redirects and high-value content require a verified migration plan before any replacement.

Send the group structure. We’ll make it understandable.

Send the current website, the materials you already have and a brief description of the decision you want visitors to make. For qualifying standard marketing sites, the proposed package starts at £5,000 and can be scoped by email with no mandatory meeting. Email FiveK Studio.

04 / AN EMAIL, NOT A MEETING

Send the link.
Bin the pitch deck.

A £5,000 standard website is an agreed marketing scope, not unlimited software development. The 72-hour build window is a proposed target once access, materials and approvals are complete. Everything can begin by email.
