FIVEK STUDIO / PRELAUNCH DESIGN PREVIEW · NOT AN INDEXED SALES SITE
HELP BUYING COMMITTEES MAKE DECISIONS

Don't just win attention. Help the right buyer decide.

For complex sales where a homepage must serve more than the person who first clicks.

If 'synergistic ecosystems' explained the service, everybody would know what it means.

Each choice changes the question, evidence and next step. We only build features confirmed in the final scope.

Our existing engineering examples demonstrate how we build and test websites. We don't present an unrelated project as a client case study in this sector.

03 / THE REAL THINKING (YES, REALLY)

Thought through
before it's built.

Unlike a generic template, this argument is written around the buyer and the evidence they'd actually need.

A better B2B site gets specific before it gets clever.

A B2B website often has to speak to several people at once: the person feeling the problem, the manager building a shortlist and someone approving commercial risk. That makes the site a sales document as much as a brand experience. We build clear, credible pages that support the real decision.

Generic phrases such as ‘end-to-end solutions’ and ‘trusted partner’ tell a serious buyer very little. We begin with buyer questions: what problem do you solve, in which circumstances, for whom, with what evidence and through what process? We connect sector pages, solution explanations and genuine case material so people can find their route without reading everything. Technical SEO is part of the build, but we do not treat search rankings as a substitute for substance. Procurement needs—credentials, delivery locations, support model, security information and fit—should be findable.

The buying committee is a better design brief than a colour preference

A champion might need an easy explanation to share with colleagues. A technical evaluator wants capabilities and limitations. Procurement needs verified business details and a clear commercial process. The B2B website should help all three without forcing them through the same long presentation.

One practical layout is Solve the problem, Check fit, See proof, Start a conversation. An interactive switcher can reorder these elements for each role. This is a reusable sales-enablement asset when the content is grounded in real buyer questions, not a novelty tab component.

Prove usefulness before adding pages

A sector page earns its place when it answers different objections or shows meaningfully different evidence. A near-duplicate page with a swapped industry name adds little value and can confuse internal linking. For a technical supplier, proof might mean verified manufacturing capability; for a consultancy it might mean documented methodology and responsible people; for SaaS it might be an actual walkthrough.

An illustrative lead message—“Tell us what the buyer needs to believe before they can say yes”—sets the right tone for a studio enquiry. It does not imply FiveK knows the sector without research.

Define what a marketing website can and cannot do

A £5,000 build can improve the way a business explains its offer, demonstrates verifiable credentials and handles standard enquiries. It does not automatically become a sales CRM, quotation engine, integration platform or demand-generation campaign. We would measure journeys to relevant proof and qualified contact actions, then refine based on actual sales feedback rather than page-view totals alone.

Proof for a multi-person buying committee

Actual buyer use cases, permissioned named or anonymised projects, accurate industries served, substantiated capabilities, and current team/office details. Case-study results must be verified and dated; a generic benefit statement is not a performance claim.

A deliberate route from problem to enquiry

  1. Home — the commercial proposition
  2. Who we help
  3. Problems and solutions
  4. How delivery works
  5. Selected proof and credentials
  6. Commercial enquiry

Demo concept: The buying-committee switchboard

select end user, decision-maker or procurement and watch the same proposition reorganise around their questions. Sample interactions do not represent a real company’s processes.

Who this is for: Established B2B businesses selling consequential products or professional services with a defined sales process and evidence worth presenting.

What the £5,000 scope does not cover: £5,000 covers a qualifying website, not a new CRM, ERP, sales automation suite or bespoke client portal.

Questions about B2B conversion

Will the site be designed for SEO or conversions?

Both matter, but each page should start with a clear buyer question and a useful next step; keyword targeting cannot justify thin near-duplicate copy.

Can one site cover several buyer sectors?

Yes. We recommend separate pages only where each audience has materially different questions, proof and offers.

Show us how your buyers choose you.

Send the current website, the materials you already have and a brief description of the decision you want visitors to make. For qualifying standard marketing sites, the proposed package starts at £5,000 and can be scoped by email with no mandatory meeting. Email FiveK Studio.

04 / AN EMAIL, NOT A MEETING

Bin the pitch deck.

A £5,000 standard website is an agreed marketing scope, not unlimited software development. The 72-hour build window is a proposed target once access, materials and approvals are complete. Everything can begin by email.
